Samtec to Exhibit at AI Hardware & Edge AI Summit and ECOC
Ahhh . . . September. Airports are less crowded. Kids are back to school. Football (both kinds!) is back in full swing.
For many folks in high-tech, the cooling temperatures of fall mean packing your bags and getting on the road. It’s trade show season. For Samtec, that means exhibiting at AI Hardware & Edge AI Summit and San Jose and ECOC in Frankfurt in September.
What’s that mean for Samtec? What can attendees look forward to?
AI Hardware & Edge AI Summit
The theme of the 2024 event is “Driving Fast, Efficient & Affordable AI”. The event is ultimate destination for the entire AI and ML ecosystem. The event aims to train, deploy and scale machine learning systems that are fast, affordable, and efficient.
In support of the training mission, Samtec technical experts will present “Optimized Data Routing via Copper/Optical Interconnects in Scalable AI Hardware Architectures.” The speaker will outline the technical challenges of next-gen AI architectures and how to select interconnects to optimize performance, improve efficiency, and speed time to market.
In Booth #41, Samtec will showcase cable and connector products that support AI/ML applications. Demos include CXL® and PCIe® over optics using the Samtec FireFly™ optical transceivers. Additionally, Samtec will show PCIe 7.0 interoperability with partner IP operating over the Samtec NovaRay® I/O 112 Gbps PAM4 panel mount cable system.
ECOC 2024 – The European Optics Event
Every year, the optical communications world converges at ECOC Exhibition. ECOC is always one of “the” events in the fiber optics ecosystem. The industry will focus on networking, sharing ideas, learning and developing new business leads.
During the Product Focus, Samtec technical experts will present “Redefining Data Center Topologies with Mid-Board Optical Transceivers” on Monday, September 23 at 2:50 PM. The speaker will feature the latest additions and capabilites of Samtec’s mid-board optical transceiver portfolio.
Samtec Networking Solutions in Stand #D2
Well suited for use in high-performance designs such as AI/ML, HPC, medical, test & measurement, and FPGA applications, Samtec high-speed interconnects support signals up to 224 Gbps PAM4.
At ECOC, Samtec will showcase demonstrations in stand #D2 that incorporate Si-Fly™ HD for 224 Gbps PAM4, Samtec Halo™ next-generation transceiver for optical and copper, CXL-over-optics featuring the Samtec FireFly™ and other Samtec high-performance PAM4 and PCIe 6.0 solutions.
OIF Interoperability Demo in #Stand B83
OIF will host a number of interoperability demonstrations n its stand #B83 at ECOC 2024. The demos address the demand for next-generation data center networking, AI/ML, and disaggregation applications.
Samtec’s products will be included in several CEI-224G demonstrations. Samtec’s BullsEye® ISI Evaluation Board offers 12 variable length signal paths with known loss profiles beyond 70 GHz. When combined with Samtec’s Bulls Eye® High-Performance Test Systems, the easy-to-use test platform is ideal for evaluating and demonstrating 224 Gbps PAM4 data rates.
