Si-Fly™ Flyover® SI Evaluation Kit
Si-Fly™112 Gbps PAM4, Low-Profile High-Density Cable System is Samtec’s lowest profile Flyover cable solution capable of residing next to the chip or direct on the substrate. The Si-Fly Flyover SI Evaluation Kit provides system designers and SI engineers an easy-to-use solution for testing the Si-Fly 112 Gbps PAM4, Low-Profile High-Density Cable System.
The Si-Fly Flyover SI Evaluation Kit (REF-224260-X.XX-XXX) routes eight high-speed differential pairs through Precision RF connectors, a Copper Si-Fly Cable System and a Copper Si-Fly High-Density Interconnect. The kit delivers a high-quality system with robust mechanical design.
FireHawk™ Evaluation Kits
Samtec’s FireHawk rugged optical transceivers combine extreme density with extreme performance to meet the harshest environments of land, sea, air, and space. The innovative design delivers much needed fiber optic bandwidth to a new generation of radar, vision systems, communications networks, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors. FireHawk is the smallest optical transceiver on the market for reliable operation in extreme applications.
Samtec’s FireHawk Evaluation Kits provide system designers, optical and SI engineers an easy-to-use solution for testing a variety of FireHawk rugged optical transceivers. Rated at 10 Gbps and 25 Gbps per lane in a x4 configuration, these kits allow the designer real-time evaluation of an actively running FireHawk rugged optical transceiver in a lab or benchtop setting.
VITA 57.1 FMC Extender
Engineers prototyping with industry-standard FPGA evaluation and development kits often leverage the VITA 57.1 FMC or VITA 57.4 FMC+ interfaces for I/O expansion that fits their application needs. In some cases, the mating height of the standard FMC/FMC+ connectors may prevent fully leveraging the connectivity options of all FMC/FMC+ modules.
In response to that need, Samtec has developed the VITA 57.1 FMC Extender Card (similar to its big brother the VITA 57.4 FMC+ Extender Card) for placement between FPGA Carrier Cards and FMC Modules. This increased space can be used for additional I/O expansion during development. It also provides a cost-effective option for extending the life of the FPGA Carrier Card HPC connectors used as test platforms.
