As the industry evolves, data rate requirements continue to increase at a rapid pace, approaching and even surpassing 56 Gbps.
As this continues, developers are challenged with balancing increasing throughput, scalability and density demands with concerns such as power consumption, signal integrity, cost and time-to-market.
Samtec helps address these challenges with industry-leading expertise in high-performance interconnect design, system optimization, and innovative strategies and technologies for the demands of next generation data transmission.
For the past few years, we have grown our Silicon-to-Silicon focus to support the next generation of system demands.
A couple of weeks back, we released a major upgrade to the Silicon-to-Silicon area of our website, which highlights all of our products and capabilities in this area.

This week, we have brought even more attention to these capabilities by updating the Samtec.com homepage with a Silicon-to-Silicon focus.
New Silicon-to-Silicon Homepage Graphic
The first thing you’ll notice when you visit the new Samtec.com homepage is a beautiful new graphic which highlights many of our Silicon-to-Silicon products and capabilities, such as High Speed Backplane, High Speed Mezzanine, Twinax Flyover, High Performance Optics, Advanced Microelectronics, and Precision RF, in a single image.
Clicking on the Learn More button on this image will take you to our upgraded Silicon-to-Silicon section of the website, where you can learn all about these capabilities.
Here is a larger version at a slightly different angle to showcase the products from end to end, if you’re interested. Click on the image for a full browser view.

Familiar Tools and Content

You’ll also notice a new panel after the main image to navigate to two of our most popular tools, Picture Search and Solutionator. This is followed by a link to our high speed cable solutions overview page, and finally a rotating Samtec Blog panel that features all of our most recent blog content.
These updates not only bring more attention to our Silicon-to-Silicon capabilities, but also continue to provide you with quick and easy access to all of the tools and content that are most familiar to you.
