Here are the May 2026 Website Updates to Samtec.com
Last month, we rolled out a brand new products page experience, user experience updates to several key online tools, upgraded our project list feature, and released a new development kit.
Here were the major updates to Samtec.com for May 2026.
Brand New Products Page Experience
In mid-May, we rolled out a brand new products page experience that significantly lightened the page and enhanced user interaction points in many places. This update was a complete ground-up rebuild of an area of our code that ran for nearly seven years. This version is around 40% faster than the previous version, and sets the stage for several more upgrades in the future.

Updated UX for Tariff Tool Search
If you need to know how your parts might be subject to the ever-changing tariff climate, we have a tool for that, and we just updated it to be even easier to use. Users can now add up to 10 parts at a time to our tariff part search.
Export Project Lists to Yourself or Colleagues
One of the lesser-known tools on Samtec.com, however, a very powerful one, is our Project List tool. By using this, users can save a list of Samtec parts for use in a project. It’s very similar to a wish-list type of tool, with some additional features unique to Samtec.com.
Users can now export any list to their computer or send them to their colleagues or any email address they choose as a CSV file.
You can try this feature for yourself in My Samtec by navigating to My Projects. Note that this feature is exclusive to users with a My Samtec account on Samtec.com
New Si-Fly® HD 224 Gbps PAM4 Kits Page
As data rates increase, trace lengths on PCBs decrease. Samtec’s high-speed, Flyover® solutions simplify PCB design and limit signal degradation in high data rate applications. The Si-Fly® HD SI Evaluation Kits provide system designers and SI engineers an easy-to-use solution for testing the Si-Fly® HD 224 Gbps PAM4 Co-Packaged & Near Chip Systems.
The Si-Fly® HD NCC SI Evaluation Kit routes sixteen high-speed differential pairs through Precision RF connectors, a Si-Fly® HD Near-Chip Cable Assembly and Si-Fly® HD Near-Chip Connectors.
The Si-Fly® HD SI Evaluation Kits deliver a high-quality system with robust mechanical design.

Updated Solutionator User Experience
Our Solutionator Parametric Search tool, which allows users to get a Mated Set pair of products matching their criteria in under a minute, has been fully rebuilt using Bulma and Svelte. This tool has been on Samtec.com in some form for over a decade. The features have not changed, but the user experience is much more snappy, and a couple of small bugs were fixed along the way.

Updated High-Speed Cable Builder User Experience
We have also updated the CSS behind our High-Speed Cable Builder, which allows users to select from a series of inputs and build a High-Speed Cable product very quickly. Additionally, this tool will be upgraded again later this year to include a new configuration option, and some graphical user experience updates as well.
