Bourbon lovers appreciate their favorite spirits in many forms. Neat. On the Rocks. A favorite mixed drink.
An emerging trend in bourbon drinking comes from an unlikely place: Infinite Harvest – an indoor hydroponic vertical farm. Infinite Harvest produces repeatedly consistent, high-quality popcorn shoots whose naturally sweet and buttery taste offers a perfect accent to anyone’s favorite bourbon drink. Perfection!
Popcorn Shoots in Winter?
Using the fundamentals of hydroponics, Infinite Harvest has developed a unique growing system turning a 5,400 sq. ft. light industrial warehouse into an equivalent 26 acre farm. Vegetables ranging from popcorn shoots and microgreens to head lettuce are placed row upon row vertically for horizontal space savings.
The sheer increase in growth area allows tailoring and optimizing various microclimates specifically targeted at various crops. Environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, water quality, light wavelength and others are monitored and adjusted in an indoor space conducive for growing plants year-round.
Year-round indoor growth cycles eliminate the seasonality of farming and virtually eliminate risky inclimate weather. Microclimate optimization delivers consistency and high-quality vegetables any time of the year with no pesticides or herbicides.
Someone wants organic popcorn shoots with their bourbon in December? No problem!
Powering the Growth Cycle
All vegetables and plants need photosynthesis to grow. Infinite Harvest has developed their own proprietary horticulture lighting system. This enables fine-tuning light wavelength, energy and temperature using LEDs to best match the specific the photosynthesis needs of any desired plant.
Infinite Harvest links dozens of LED PCBs serially in their vertical farming systems. For power delivery in LED PCB board-to-board applications, Infinite Harvest uses the IPT1/IPS1 .100″ Mini Mate® Isolated Power Connector terminal and socket pairs.
Features of these families include:
.100″ (2.54 mm) pitch
Current rating to 4.8A @ 95°C
Double row
Individually shrouded contacts
Optional locking clip and alignment pins
Elevated stack height options
Vertical through-hole and surface mount, right-angle through-hole
For power delivery in LED PCB wire-to-board applications, Infinite Harvest uses the IPBT/PMSD .165″ Power Mate® Isolated Power Connector terminals and discrete wire cable assemblies.
Features of these families include:
.165″ (4.19 mm) pitch
Individually shrouded contacts
Current rating to 7 A @ 75°C (PMSD)
Current rating to 5.3 A @ 75°C (IPBT)
