When you’re researching a product, one of the first things you want to know aside from “will it work?” is “when can I have it?”
Well, we’ve just made that a lot easier to understand in a couple of key places on Samtec.com.
You can now see up-to-the-minute product availability directly on the Technical Specifications pages for a large number of Samtec products. For most products, this information is available instantly when the page loads without having to run a manual lookup.
This data is available to all types of users, although logged-in users will need to visit My Samtec for customer-specific pricing information.

This virtually eliminates the need to run a delivery lookup to see how fast a product can be acquired at various volumes, saving time and streamlining the design process even more than we already have.
We’ll be working on adding customer-specific pricing in the near future.
Real-Time Product Availability in Solutionator
On top of this information being available on our Product Pages, we’ve also brought it further up the chain into Solutionator, where you can use parametric search functions to find a mated set to work in your application.
This has been added in two key places within Solutionator, within the grid itself (when available), and within the side-by-side procurement view.
We’ve also added an add-to-cart button for each product, making it even simpler to get the products you need quickly from Solutionator. You can choose one or both just by clicking each button.
Coming Soon
The next steps with this evolution is to add this functionality throughout the website anywhere a part number is used. These areas include our on-site search, cross reference search, and various other pages and applications throughout Samtec.com.
We’ll also be working on integrating customer-specific pricing information throughout the website later this year.
