Continued Improvements to our Mobile Experience
As corporations worldwide become more mobile-friendly to their workforce, the Internet needs to evolve to match. This has been a huge trend in the B2C space for the last decade, and is now quickly catching up to the B2B space.
We’ve seen our mobile user base grow rapidly in the past 12 months during M-F, and have even noticed many weekend warriors who use Samtec.com at extremely high rates on mobile devices over the weekends.
As remote work becomes more ubiquitous, offering a world-class mobile experience will be vital to online success. We expect these trends to continue.
This month we rolled out several optimizations to mobile Samtec.com, and will continue to integrate mobile functionality into all applicable applications into the future as well.

Updated FAQs page
We have updated our Frequently Asked Questions page to a new, easier-to-use format. Check it out here to find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about Samtec products.
Development Boards to Product Pages
Over the past few years, Samtec has expanded its portfolio of Characterization and Development Kits. Engineers and designer demand the best tools for system prototyping.
Engineers like to make sure the tech they choose works. Rightfully speaking, they want to find design examples as “proof” their design selections are correct.
New open-source electronics platforms always come to market, whether Snickerdoodle or Maker Kits. Samtec customers want to know if a particular connector has been used before. That information should be easy to find.
In response, Samtec has added development kits examples to the appropriate connector series Tech Specs page. The image above shows the new feature.

A Better Way to Order Samples
Recently we rolled out a more simplified way to place samples on the website. Rather than navigating to a standalone page, you’ll now see a simple pop-out tool that will allow you to enter as many sample lines as you need. Just type in your part numbers, click “Get Samples” and adjust the quantity on the next page. The rest is the same from there.
This tool is also available on mobile devices, making the sample experience between desktop, tablet, and mobile very consistent.
Fun fact about this update. It was never planned to release to Samtec.com. This was a concept we developed to make placing sample requests easier from our kiosk stations at trade shows. People liked it so much that we decided to make it the main sampling tool on Samtec.com!
