In May, we released updates to our new Pricing PDF download tool, added a new section for medical industry product applications, made some accessibility upgrades, and extended the visibility of our development kit offerings to our family pages.
Here are the major updates to Samtec.com for May 2025.
Updates to Pricing Document Download Tool
We recently released a tool on the website that allows users to request a pricing document as a PDF. This document allows the user to get a simple takeaway with current pricing for a specific part number without going through a formal quote process. This tool is great for those who quickly need an official pricing document.
You can try it on any part-number-specific product page, such as https://www.samtec.com/products/seaf-20-05.0-s-08-2-a-k-tr. Just click the “Request Pricing Document” button and then fill out the short form on the next page. You’ll then get an email delivered to you within a couple of minutes with pricing for your product with the contact information that you submitted through the form.
New Medical Industry Applications Section
Samtec delivers Sudden Service® solutions for the medical industry to meet the stringent quality, production, and compliance requirements of our partners and customers. The combined efforts of Samtec’s ongoing Severe Environment Testing initiative with our extremely flexible high-speed interconnects provide a quick turn and cost-effective solution for medical applications, such as surgical robotics, 3D imaging, and patient monitoring, which require reliable performance and durability.
While there are a wide range of electronic medical applications, many have the same requirements of their interconnects: high-speed performance, reliability, ruggedness, high mating cycles, protocol compliance, and small form factors. Samtec’s catalog of high-speed, high-power, and RF interconnects are ideally suited to serve the medical market. And for applications that need it, Samtec offers a range of rapid customization options.

Accessibility Updates
Accessibility as it applies to websites is the ability for disabled users to be able to successfully navigate a website and use its functions regardless of their disability. This often applies to disabilities such as color blindness and other vision issues, as well as motor control impairments.
We have released several updates to the website in the last several months, which will help with this, such as ensuring all images have an alt text and that images with text have proper captions and nearby descriptions. We’ve also added closed captions to all of our relevant videos throughout the website, which includes nearly 1,000 product videos, and counting.
The various updates go well beyond the scope of this post, and it is something we’ll be continuing to work on in the future as we develop new applications and update existing applications to be more accessibility-friendly.
Development and Evaluation Kits on Product Family Pages
Our Evaluation and Development Kits, which continue to grow in popularity, help to simplify the design process for many of our products, reducing time to market.
We’ve recently updated several of our product family pages to include these kits. This adds much more visibility to them as website users browse through Samtec products, further simplifying the design process for many of our high-end products.
