Trade shows are happening once again, and not the mini trade shows we saw in 2021. Shows such as DesignCon, NAB, and more will be happening with tens of thousands of people who are eager to learn about new and exciting products and industry trends. This means we’ll be rolling out several updates to the website to promote new and key products around the time those shows are about to happen.
New content was a lot of our focus in March 2022. We rolled out several new content pages to the website, as well as a few new profile, checkout, and cart features.
Here are the major updates to Samtec.com for March 2022.
Added an Order Submission Preference to the User Profile Options
To continue our upgrades to user profiles, users can now choose an order submission preference. This will let us know the most preferred method that you would like to submit orders. This allows us to be more efficient with our back-end processes and more effective with customer communication and operations on order processing.
You can access this feature inside your profile on the Preferences page. https://www.samtec.com/profile
Add Products in Batches to Your Cart
If you’re not familiar with our Project List tool, now is a great time to take a look at it, especially with this new feature we just added. The Project List tool is similar to the Amazon Wish List tool, which allows you to create custom-named lists of products that you frequently need access to on Samtec.com. You can either use this to store lists of parts for a particular project or just use it to keep a list of your “favorite” products on the site for easy re-ordering.
We recently released a “Batch Add” button to our project list feature. This is a feature that you may also find in popular BOM tools. We liked it so much that we built our own, just for Samtec products. This feature will allow you to take all of the items in your project list and move them to your cart in multiples of your batch size.

New Broadcast Video Page
Broadcasting in the digital age has created new ways for reaching viewers. New AcceleRate® HP Page
AcceleRate® HP cable assembly is the industry’s highest density 112 Gbps PAM4 rated solution for cable-to-board applications.
The AcceleRate® HP cable system provides an excellent mix of density and performance. The 0.635 mm pitch board connector uses Samtec’s popular AcceleRate® contacts with a staggered row-to-row spacing of 2.2 mm x 2.4 mm, allowing adequate routing lanes for optimized differential pair traces.
The cable assembly features Samtec’s optimized direct attach technology for impedance control and lower losses through Eye Speed® ultra low skew twinax cable. The addition of a retention shroud provides a robust cabled interconnect.
