In June, we continued to upgrade several key pieces of content across the website, including more interactive product explorers on several pages and a homepage refresh. We also made a significant update to our product pages which allows logged-in users to see customer-specific pricing.
Here are the major updates to Samtec.com for June 2020.
New 3D Product Explorers
To continue with our virtual product explorer updates, we just released four new 3D interactive product explorers. These explorers allow users to interact with a mated set sample of our products in a web-based 3D environment.
Users can mate and unmate, zoom in and out, and rotate these 360 degrees in all directions. You can see these on the pages below. You can check out the new product explorers here for several of our flagship products.
Homepage Refresh
Recently, we launched the newest design for the homepage of Samtec.com, featuring several new graphics and a simplified approach, speeding up the experience and paving the way for some surprises we have coming hopefully later this year.
This new homepage update features a main banner section focused on our new Picture Search tool, which was updated in May 2020 as well as three sub-graphics focused on our Solutionator, High-Speed Cable, and Micro Rugged Solutions.

Logged-in Customer-Specific Pricing
Before this update, customers could only see their specific negotiated pricing in our Pricing and Delivery tool in My Samtec.
Now, in addition to being able to see pricing on our Product pages for guest users, all logged-in users can now see their customer-specific pricing straight on the Product pages.
This update is a big step in continuing to elevate our e-commerce experience throughout Samtec.com.
