In January of 2025, we kicked off the new year with a blog refresh, a few more homepage updates, a new SI Eval Kit page and a brand new pricing tool that is now available to OEM users.
Here are the major website updates to Samtec.com released in January 2025.
Blog Refresh
If you haven’t yet noticed, the Samtec Blog is looking a little bit different these days. We upgraded the back-end to a new framework and updated the front end with a refreshed and streamlined design. This also brought a few performance updates by simplifying the code and removing several pieces of software that were no longer needed.
Some of the updates include:
- An integrated search tool within the header and blog sidebar
- A more user-friendly blog reading experience with additional contrast and fonts for accessibility
- A rebuilt and simplified footer section
- Easier blog navigation paging and article to article navigation
- A simplified and streamlined sidebar
- A new “All Blog Posts” page for navigating all posts on the blog

New Book Price PDF Tool for OEM Users
OEM users of Samtec.com will now notice a new button on any valid full part number page. This button reads “Request Pricing Document”. It creates the ability for OEM users to request an official PDF document with our book pricing listed within, tied to that OEM account. This feature has long been requested by users wanting a download takeaway from the website without going through a longer formal quote process.
I can’t show you an example due to privacy reasons, but if you would like to request one of your own, you can go to any part number page on the website and log in as an OEM user to request yours.
In the near future, we’ll open this to all users who would like to request this document from the website.
Homepage Updates Completed
We wrapped up the latest round of design refresh updates to the homepage in January by adding our famous tiger to the blog banner at the bottom. The other updates include an updated hero and secondary section, brand new imagery, new styles for the products section, and several more subtle design updates.

New Samtec AcceleRate® mP SI Evaluation Kit Page
The Samtec AcceleRate® mP high-density, high-speed signal/power arrays achieve 64 Gbps PAM4 speeds on a 0.635 mm pitch. Power blades rotated 90º gives equal access to heat escape for uniform cooling, increased current capacity, reduced crowding, and simplified breakout region (BOR).
The AcceleRate® mP SI Evaluation Kit provides system designers and SI engineers an easy-to-use solution for testing AcceleRate® mP connectors.
