Here are the August 2025 Website Updates to Samtec.com

This month, we rolled out several Phase 2 updates to our new Pricing and Delivery system, updated our on-site distributor stock tool, added some user-experience updates to our Solutionators and added a few more options to My Samtec for customers to manage their accounts online.

Here are the major updates to Samtec.com for August 2025.

User Experience Updates to our Pricing and Delivery Application

100% of all Samtec.com users are now on the new Pricing and Delivery application. The legacy system that I helped develop when I first started at Samtec in 2013 ran for over 12 years. Hopefully, this one runs for even longer.

The new application has been upgraded with increased performance, a far better user experience, supports mobile devices, translated languages, and has several new options for users to look up pricing online 24/7.

This month we added a new interface for looking up pricing for multiple part numbers. Users can copy / paste up to 50 part numbers from a two-column spreadsheet with a single click. Additional parts can also be added to the request by clicking the Add Part button. This new method drastically improves the speed at which parts can be entered.

Updated Distributor Stock Tool

Samtec has many distributor partnerships all over the world that stock millions of our parts at any given time. While we do sell directly to customers (many competitors do not) we recognize that sometimes going through a distributor makes more sense for some companies.

Our distributor stock widget is available on all part number pages on the website where a distributor has stock, as well as the Pricing and Delivery, Search, and Mated Set pages.

We recently added a few more options to this tool and made it easier to digest by sorting the data more intelligently.

UX Updates to High-Speed Board-to-Board Solutionator

Our High-Speed Board-to-Board Solutionator allows users to sort through hundreds of thousands of pre-configured Mated Sets for our high-speed parts. We recently updated the column layout and added a small toggle in the final panel to allow users to more easily view extremely high-speed products, such as 56 Gbps and 112 Gbps solutions.

More Accurate Filtering for Parametric Solutionator

Our Solutionator parametric search allows users to search through literally millions of Samtec products to arrive at a Mated Set in under a minute. We recently updated the filtering logic to allow a smaller subset of products to be delivered based on user filters. This will help users narrow down their results more quickly with less work.

Pricing File Currency Selector

Another recent addition to My Samtec is a daily pricing file that can be used for ingestion into a database, API, or anything else that partners want to use it for. It contains up-to-date pricing pulled straight from our own pricing systems. This tool is extremely useful for many purposes, and can now be pulled for several different currencies by simply selecting from a dropdown list of options.

Stored Dropship Addresses

Lastly, we have updated the Manage Addresses page of My Samtec to allow users to store dropship addresses in their account. Many users make use of our online checkout to ship things to different companies that they partner with. To keep data cleaner, these will now appear as dropship locations within My Samtec.

The dropship addresses will save automatically when you check out, and then will show up in your Manage Addresses page.
