Samtec is excited to introduce our first podcast series. The Samtec Transmission Line℠ Podcast is hosted by Samtec’s own Matt Burns and David Pike.

Each episode will feature a guest who will chat with Matt and David on one of a wide array of topics from the world of connectors or the electronics market. We will be interviewing industry experts and Samtec customers about some of the ways in which Samtec is helping to enable the latest technology, from AI to Automotive. We will also be talking to some of the folks behind the scenes here at Samtec who are responsible for delivering high-performance interconnect solutions to our customers.
In the first of our interviews, we talked to Steve Hillerich who guided us through the new (and potentially confusing) world of glass core technology (GCT). This cutting-edge technology is enabling some of the most advanced AI applications, replacing traditional PCB substrates with materials that deliver remarkable high-frequency capabilities.
We also talked to field applications engineer Anthony Fellbaum. Based in Ottawa, Anthony is tasked with supporting Canadian customers and helping them access the best connectivity solutions. Canada is home to some advanced customers developing solutions for the next generation of computing, including AI and machine vision. Anthony gives us an insight into some of the challenges faced by today’s customers and engineers, and we talk about some of the initiatives that Samtec has introduced to help them.
You can currently catch the Transmission Line podcast using the link below, and it is also available on Spotify, Audible and Amazon Music.
