The Samtec Web team has been working on integrating additional translated areas of the website as we continue to build out several new software features. Here are a few new areas of the website that now offer full language translation into German, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, with more areas to come soon.

Profile Section
All areas of our Profile section are now translated into all supported languages. In this section of the website, users can set preferences such as saved addresses, manage passwords, shipping methods, project lists, and more. Each of these features allows a more personalized and streamlined experience when interacting with the website.
We are also launching new versions of your favorite self-service tools in this area coming soon, such as tracking for Quotes, Orders, Samples, and Pricing.

To translate this area of the site, just click the “Language” toggle at the top of the website and choose your desired language.
Samples Section

Users can now also place sample requests in our supported translated languages as well. Just click any of the Free Sample tools on the website while already in a translated language, and the tool will be translated when it launches. The example above shows the sample page translated into German.
Cart and Checkout Sections
Our Cart section of the website is also translated into our supported languages, which allows users to click Proceed to Checkout to our newly translated Checkout area of the website. The checkout area was not previously translated because this area of the website was recently rebuilt from the ground up.
It is now translated into all of our major supported languages, German, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, allowing users to place orders in their native languages.

Registration Pages Up Next
Coming up within the next few weeks, we’ll roll out similar changes to the Registration area of the website, allowing users to register for a My Samtec account in their native languages as well, enabling a full end-to-end eCommerce experience in our supported translated languages across Samtec.com.
