Samtec’s New Micro Mate™ 1.00 mm Pitch Discrete Wire System

One product family that supports multiple applications is Samtec’s new Micro Mate™ 1.00 mm pitch discrete wire system. This system is available now for your cable-to-board, cable-to-cable or cable-to-panel applications, so no need to wait for a sinking car situation.

Space Savings

Micro Mate™ also offers incredible space savings. Compared to other 28 AWG assemblies, this system features an extremely small form factor. The slim body design allows for a profile as low as 3.2 mm when mated with a right-angle board connector (also available in vertical).

Rugged Features

In addition, rugged features were designed in with single or double positive latching and optional Teflon® cable for high temperature or halogen-free applications. Dual leaf contacts provide a reliable connection and up to 3.3 Amps per pin.

Design Flexibility

With a choice of socket or terminal assemblies in single or double row and up to 40 total pins, Micro Mate™ is highly configurable to meet your application requirements. Additionally, the panel mount assembly fits a panel thickness range of .033″ to .090″. Further design flexibility as full assemblies or components with assembly tooling is available.
