24-hour free samples have always been one of the key differentiators for Samtec. We’re always striving to make that process as easy as possible.
For the past few months, we’ve been quietly expanding and improving your ability to place sample requests online.
We’ve now gotten this process to a point where you can start with a search, and have a sample on its way to you in under 60 seconds.
How to Access our One-Step Sample Process
Currently our new one-step sample process is available in three areas of the website.
Solutionator Parametric Search via the data grid
- Navigate to www.samtec.com
- Click on the “Start Your Search” button or go to www.samtec.com/solutionator
- Enter your parameters
- Click a row in the data grid
- Click the “Get a Free Sample” button
- Fill in your information and click “Confirm Order”
Full Part Number Results in our Global Search via the Free Sample Call-to-Action button
- Perform a Search and find any full part number in the results (hint: use the Products tab to filter by Products only)
- Click the Free Samples button on the right of the results page
- Fill in your information and click “Confirm Order”
Full Part Tech Specs Pages via the Free Sample Call-to-Action button
- Enter any valid full part number into the Search box at the top right
- OR click on any full part number in the Search results
- Click the “Get a Free Sample” button
- Fill in your information and click “Confirm Order”
One-Step Samples on Samtec.com
All of the above methods will allow you to access this simple one-step process. Here is a screenshot of what the entry screen looks like.
As you can see in the screenshot above, everything is in one step. You can adjust your quantity, enter your attn information, enter your shipping address, and finally confirm your sample.
We’ll also default these values if you have entered a sample previously, and use a global geolocation service to pull in valid addresses, making this process even easier on you.
