Here are the September 2025 Website Updates to Samtec.com
In August, we rolled out a new section of content for robotics products, a new way to access product specs for RF products, a navigation upgrade to picture search, and a full CSS framework upgrade within our My Samtec application.
Here are the major updates to Samtec.com for September 2025.
Discrete Wire Cable Builder Now Accessible from Picture Search
If you have a need for wire-to-board products, and you have never used our Discrete Wire Cable Builder, check it out here. This is a very simple, yet powerful application that streamlines the creation of discrete wire cables within just a couple of minutes. This tool is now accessible via our widely popular Picture Search tool.
New Humanoid Robotics Page
Samtec offers rugged and high-density interconnects that support reliable communication and power transmissions in different types of robotic systems. Samtec’s Extended Life Product™ and Severe Environment Testing initiatives enable quick-turn, cost-effective options that deliver the performance, reliability, and durability required by challenging robotics environments, including industrial robotics, medical robotics, surgical robotics, and humanoid robotics.

Addition of RF Specs
The Product Specs datasheets you can find on Samtec.com have a wealth of information within them, but since they live in a PDF, sometimes they can get lost or be more difficult to access than if that information was just on the website directly.
To cater to this desire, we have begun to add product specifications in a new block on the Technical Specifications pages. The first series covered with this update is our 185-CM 50 Ohm 1.85 mm Jack. This link will take you directly to the new block where you’ll see this new information.
CSS Upgrade in My Samtec
As part of our ongoing project to upgrade the website to the Bulma CSS framework, we’ve recently rolled out this upgrade in our My Samtec section of the website. This application allows self-service for many procurement-related activities, such as Pricing, Delivery, Quote, Sample, and Order lookups.
The layout hasn’t changed much aside from a slightly increased visual experience since this was just a behind-the-scenes CSS update, but users should notice a snappier experience due to the lower amount of code that needs to load within the application, which is always a good thing!
