As the Samtec website continues to evolve, we’ve been quietly adding several new eCommerce features in various areas of the website. With a recent release, we’ve added two new useful features to our Product Tech Specs pages to the Series and the Part-Level version of the page.
Easily See Your Recently Viewed Series
If you’re logged into Samtec.com, you’ll now be able to see your 10 most recently viewed series in a new block on the series page titled “Recently Viewed”.
You’ll see an image of the series, a description, and a link to navigate to it easily. We’ll show you up to 10 of these starting with your most recent. This is a great way to get a reminder of what you were looking for last time you visited without needing to document it somewhere.
Just pull up the Recently Viewed tab on the Series page and we’ll show them right on the page for you.
Easily See Your Recently Viewed Parts
Just as we did with series, we’ve done the same with part numbers. Again, you’ll need to be logged in to the website and on a part-level page this time. You’ll see a new tab on the left called “Recently Viewed” where you’ll see your 10 most recently viewed parts.
Similar to the series block, you’ll see an image of the product (not always an exact part number image), a description, and a link to get to that page.
On top of those elements, you’ll also see an “Add to Cart” button along with a quantity field, allowing you to add this part to your cart straight from this section.
Just pull up the Recently Viewed tab on the Part page and we’ll show them right on the page for you.
