In all of our Solutionator® tools where users can design a mated set of products, we have now added a feature that allows users to require that BOTH parts be within our Samtec Reserve® program, which offers 1-day shipping on over 200,000 parts. Previous to this change, only one side of the mated set was required to be in Reserve®.
You can see this filter in action in these three tools
- High Speed Board to Board Solutionator – https://www.samtec.com/picturesearch/hsb2b-solutionator
- Flex Stacking Solutionator – https://www.samtec.com/picturesearch/flex-stack-solutionator
- Full Solutionator – https://www.samtec.com/solutionator/
Here’s an example of how to use this new feature. I’ll show you using the Flex Stacking Solutionator®.
You’ll see the Reserve® filters at the top and bottom in this tool. If you want to start off with it, click the toggle at the top and make sure both boxes are checked.

From there, perform your search like you normally would
- Choose Your Connector Type
- Select Your Board Termination
- Select Your Pitch
- Select Your Positions Range
- Select Your Stack Height
All of these steps are unchanged, so I won’t go into detail about those since they’re fairly self-explanatory. Where this filter starts to make a huge difference is the results grid. You can see here that I have both Reserve® boxes checked. This takes my result set down quite a bit, but the huge benefit is that I immediately know that I can get both of these parts that are a full mated set, shipped in one day guaranteed.
Now that’s sudden service!
To use this feature, you can use any of the links above to access these Solutionators. We’ll also build it into any future tool which offers a mated set across Samtec.com.
