ULTRA RUGGED SOLUTIONS
URSA™ I/O systems feature a hyperboloid-type contact with four points of contact for an extremely reliable connection and extremely high mating cycles. Available as cable-to-cable and cable-to-board with up to 40 positions per row on a micro 1.00 mm pitch, this rugged power I/O system also features EMI shielding to limit signal degradation and ultimately optimize performance. Ultra Rugged Hardware rounds out the new product offerings with SureWare™ guide post standoffs (GPSO). They allow for 0.035” of misalignment and assist with “blind mate” for ultra micro fine pitch mezzanine connectors such as NovaRay®, AcceleRate® HP, AcceleRate® HD and mPOWER®. Additionally, these standoffs are constructed of 303 stainless steel with an MIL-C-13924 black oxide finish for corrosion protection.
Severe Environment Testing (SET) supports Ultra Rugged Solutions with additional testing beyond typical industry standards for performance confidence in rugged and harsh environments.
