In June, the Samtec Web team rolled out a few significant updates. We launched translation support for our Checkout and Registration areas, launched a major upgrade to our Quotes Status system, and added additional content around our analog over array technology.
Here were the major updates to Samtec.com in June 2023.
Translation Updates to the Checkout and Login/Registration Areas
We’re now supporting German, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese in the login and registration areas of the website. Users will be redirected to their correct language from the main website and will be able to use the login and registration system in these three languages. This uses the same technology we deployed in the Checkout a few weeks prior.
Upgraded Quotes Lookup System
In late June we swapped over to the full release of the new quotes system, built on updated technology and fully running in the cloud. This replaces a 10+ year-old legacy system that was not aging gracefully and lays the foundation for the future development of this application moving forward.
All navigation now points to the new system and we’ll be redirecting all of the old links soon.
Analog Over Array Updates in Several Family Pages
We added several updates for our Analog Over Array capabilities throughout the site. This update includes a new eBrochure that details the technology as well as several content updates throughout various family pages of the website.
On a related note, we also added several new evaluation kits to speed up development using this technology.
