They say the early bird gets the worm. So, for all the early birds out there, here is a quick look at a new product not yet released, but coming soon – extreme performance micro arrays.
AcceleRate® micro arrays (APM6/APF6) feature a flexible open-pin-field design with extreme performance to 56 Gbps NRZ/112 Gbps PAM4. This system is also data rate compatible with PCIe® Gen 5 speeds and 100 GbE. Not only are these arrays fast, but AcceleRate® is also cost optimized, which makes it ideal for applications where speed is crucial but cost is limited.
The open-pin-field design provides incredible grounding and routing flexibility for any configuration of differential pairs, single ended signals and/or power in the same interconnect. Other benefits of the open-pin-field include reduced crosstalk, space for more ground vias, and maintained density (GSSG).
Initial release of the 0.635 mm pitch micro arrays will include a 4-row design with up to 400 total position counts and 5 or 10 mm stack heights. Additional row counts and 1,000+ total positions are in development. A high-speed cable assembly is also in development for even greater system design flexibility.
