Samtec.com includes close to 200 high-quality videos that span across a variety of categories and topics.
These videos include things like recorded presentations and webinars, product features and benefits, tutorials for web tools, virtual tours of our tech centers, corporate overviews, product instructions and how-tos, and much more.
Recently, we’ve been working on upgrading the experience in our Video Search library to make sorting, searching, and filtering through these videos easier to do. We have taken several steps to make this a better experience, including:
- Added a few new tags that help better organize different types of videos
- Added a sorting feature to allow users to filter from oldest to newest, or newest to oldest
- Updated the search tool to bring back more accurate results, and to work better with the existing filters
- Built a faster modal lightbox for viewing videos
- Improved the mobile experience for users on smartphones (close to 15% of our overall traffic now)
